On August 26, 2026, the Terminal and Chip Working Group of the SUCA Alliance convened its first standards meeting of the year. The session was dedicated to the detailed deliberation of two draft group standards: "Technical Specification for Colour Liquid Crystal Display Modules Used in Game Consoles" and "Test Methods for Pointing Interaction Performance of Ultra‑High‑Definition Television Sets."
During the meeting, the participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the scope of application, technical requirements, and corresponding test methods set forth in the draft documents. Drawing upon their practical experience in product development and testing, the attending experts offered constructive suggestions aimed at enhancing the standards’ applicability and operational feasibility.
The meeting concluded that the standard texts would be further revised and refined based on the feedback received. Validation efforts will be carried out through real‑product testing and empirical data collection. In addition, the Working Group plans to actively invite a broader range of relevant enterprises to participate in subsequent discussions, with a view to continuously improving the scientific robustness, practical relevance, and implementability of the standards. These efforts are intended to provide solid support for the orderly and standardized development of the related products.
